A devoted family man actively involved in community and religious organizations, he has been recognized in the Hispanic community for his compassion and contributions. For 18 years he has personally sponsored and led an annual Thanksgiving turkey giveaway in Little Havana — distributing more than 1,500 complete meals to families in need each year. He also runs an annual back-to-school event distributing 1,200 backpacks and school supplies to children in Hialeah.
Mr. Cordero serves as sole and managing partner of the firm, with more than 40 staff members concentrated in consumer-bankruptcy law and expanded practices in loan modifications, foreclosure defense, real estate, and family law. Beyond practice, Mr. Cordero has served on the Board of Advisors for his alma mater St. Thomas School of Law for the past 26 years and contributes annually to scholarship funding for law students who cannot otherwise afford tuition.
