Biography
Sean Cordero has been part of the Cordero bankruptcy family practice since his early years. Over the past eight years, he has developed both an understanding of hard work and dedication to legal representation of clients with consumer-debt issues — and a recognition of the special responsibility attorneys have to advise and guide clients in the right direction.
After graduating from Southern Methodist University (SMU) with a Bachelor's degree in Finance (Special Honors) at the acclaimed Cox School of Business, he continued the Cordero family tradition by earning his JD from St. Thomas School of Law in Miami. During law school, he worked for the firm and learned the complicated consumer-bankruptcy system, concentrating in both Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 court-litigation departments. He received numerous awards at St. Thomas, including Dean's List and Top Student List recognitions.
Currently, Sean is employed as one of the lead attorneys in Chapter 13 support litigation, focused on Trustee review and confirmations. He covers court calendars in the tri-county area — Dade, Broward, and West Palm Beach. He also handles debt-settlement matters and civil disputes resolved in bankruptcy court.
